From 18th to 20th September 2026, Blackpool played host to a truly fantastic weekend as the Fantastic Lesbians community came together for three unforgettable days of fun, laughter, friendship and celebration. Bringing together women from across the UK, the weekend was packed with inspiring conversations, entertaining activities, creative workshops and plenty of opportunities to make new friends and reconnect with familiar faces.
The Fantastic Lesbians Blackpool Conference 2026 was all about celebrating lesbian identity, strengthening friendships and building a welcoming, supportive community where everyone could feel included. With a wonderful mix of thought-provoking discussions, music, creativity and good old-fashioned fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Among the weekend's highlights was Songs for Women with Paula Boulton, bringing music, connection and shared experiences to the celebrations. Joan Grant's Lesbian Relationships Workshop offered an opportunity to explore the joys, challenges and complexities of relationships, encouraging open discussion, understanding and mutual support.
A series of workshops also focused on building strong, welcoming and supportive lesbian communities, exploring the importance of friendship, belonging and creating spaces where lesbians can connect, share experiences and support one another.
Another highlight was Butch, Femme & Everything in Between with Caroline Meagher, an open, honest and enjoyable conversation exploring lesbian identity, expression and attraction. The session provided an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of lesbian experiences, challenge assumptions and embrace the many different ways women express who they are.
Of course, no Fantastic Lesbians gathering would be complete without a generous helping of humour and a little mystical mischief! Madame LaBia and Mystic Morag were on hand with their Psychic Slots throughout the weekend, bringing their own unique blend of cosmic wisdom, cheeky predictions and outrageous entertainment to the proceedings.
Beyond the organised sessions, the weekend was filled with those spontaneous moments that make gatherings so special. From lively conversations and shared laughter to new friendships, creative activities and evening entertainment, Blackpool provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration of lesbian life and community.
Above all, the Fantastic Lesbians Blackpool Conference 2026 was a celebration of togetherness. It was an opportunity to learn from one another, share stories, exchange ideas and strengthen the connections that make the Fantastic Lesbians community so special.
Three fabulous days, countless laughs and plenty of wonderful memories later, the weekend was a reminder of just how important it is to create spaces where lesbians can come together, feel welcome and simply enjoy being themselves.
Connect. Create. Celebrate. That's what Fantastic Lesbians is all about!
